It’s been over two years now since I decided to get a vasectomy and I’ve never looked back. A few times I have been saddened when I was told the world needs me to have kids or when a girl was not interested in me because I can’t make a baby. This is my sister Rebecca! And I love her!

She moved out to San Diego with me a month ago when I got back from my bike ride across the United States and we are having an awesome time living together. 

Just a few years ago if you’d have asked either one of us if we’d ever live together we’d surely have said, “No way, man!” Now here we are living in San Diego, California, far away from the small town in Northern Wisconsin where we grew up in a house packed full of four kids and one mom that all had trouble getting along in the cramped living quarters. I’ve got to say I love her and I love living with her.

“So much inspiration churned inside my body that on the surface shivers erupted and my eyes were on the brink of exploding with tears all throughout the day.”

05/14 (Day 24)

Shivers of inspiration ran through my body from head to toe all throughout the day as I pedaled up and down the green Colorado hills. On multiple occasions tears formed in my eyes, more often as I was flying down hill or jamming out on flat land then when I was climbing the grueling hills. Jack JohnsonTrevor Green, and Xavier Rudd along with educational sustainability podcasts inspired me to keep on pedaling through the intense heat and in turn to keep inspiring others to live a happier healthier life.
